Dr. Thodas has been in private practice since his graduation in 1977
from the School of Dentistry, Pacific University. For nearly thirty
years he has been caring for his patients their children and in some
cases their grandchildren. Dr. Thodas followed his father and uncle
in to the dental profession and has six dentists in his immediate
family. Thodas dental in the bay area goes back to 1932, a proud legacy.
Dr. Thodas is an active member of the American Dental Association
the California Dental Association, and The American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry the American Academy of The History of Dentistry, and The
Academy of Sports Dentistry.
He serves on the board of directors of the Pacific Dental Education
Foundation, Pacific University and is chairperson and co-curator of
the Institute of Dental History and Craino-facial Study.
Dr. Thodas is married to Dr. Gabrielle Thodas whom he met in Dental
School, she is an Orthodontist who practices in Redwood City. They
have four grown children, and one grandchild. Dr. Thodas enjoys spending
time with his family, fly-fishing in the Sierras and raising Japanese
